Show Luo


















Show Luo also known as Xiao Zhu was born on July 30 1979. He is a Taiwanese entertainer: Mandopop singer, dancer, host and actor. He had been dubbed "Asia's Dance King" for his dancing skills. Born into a musical family; his parents hosted entertainment shows for weddings, events throughout his childhood, his father as host and his mother sang. He is of Taiwanese aborigine (Amis) from his  mother's family and of Taiwanese Chinese ancestry from his father. He is commonly known by his nickname Xiao Zhu, which means 'Little Pig', due to him being overweight during his childhood. Show started playing drums at the age of 3 and performed onstage with his parents as a child. He won a silver award at a father-son singing contest when he was 7. 
He is fluent in Mandarin, Taiwanese and conversational Japanese (learnt during his stay in Japan before of Show Time, hosted a TV show with Kumi Koda). His English is infamously bad and his off-key mis-used English is somewhat of a running joke especially on his show, 100% Entertainment. 
He is managed by Universes Entertainment Marketing Limited, along with Elva Hsiao, Wong JingLun and Nick. It is a sister company Mars Entertainment Ltd which manages artists such as Rainie Yang, Stanley Huang, Jolin Tsai, hence sometimes they refer to each other as being in the same company. 
He co-hosts a daily entertainment news/variety show, 100% Entertainment on Gala Television (GTV) Variety Show/ CH 28 with Alien Huang. He is also the creator and designer of street trend fashion brand "STAGE Hylaline of World", abbreviated as S.H.O.W. It has outlets throughout Taiwan and in Hong Kong, Singapore, China, USA and Australia.

In December 1995, Show Joined "You Are Four Heavenly Kings" imitation competition on China Television. He imitated Aaron Kwok and won 1st place. Then along with 3 other contestants, debut as a quartet boy band "Four Heavenly Kings" releasing 5 albums from 1996 to 1998. Then in 1998 they formally disbanded after 2 members left (compulsory military service). In the same year he formed a duo 'Romeo'. They released 2 albums and was active till 2000. After the disbandment of Romeo, Show went solo and for the next 3 years concentrated on hosting variety shows including stints on Japanese Fuji TV.
